Dr. Rick Schad

Dr. Schad has worked at the clinic since October 2019.  He took over the clinic from Dr. Dan Hannan in February.   Dr Schad has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 26 years. They have 6 kids ranging from 14 to 25.  He previously practiced in Perry & his hometown area of Creston.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, traveling and playing golf.  He is very excited to be on this new adventure and to be helping the Eastside community.

Melissa Schad

Melissa has worked in Dr. Schad's clinics off and on for 20+ years.  She was previously an educator with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.  She's of course married to Dr. Schad and they have 6 children, ages 14 to 25.  Her hobbies include crafts, reading, traveling, loving on her dogs, spending time with family and creating projects for her hubby.

Insurance Accepted

Dr. Schad is now a provider for Medicare.  Other insurances accepted are Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Medica, UMR, and Cigna.  If you have other policies besides those listed, please call our office and we can determine acceptance.
